- The DC State Board of Education will hold its next High School Graduation Requirements Task Force meeting at 6 p.m. in Room 1114 at 441 4th St. NW. During the meeting, the task force will discuss options for improving the preparedness of students for high school coursework, college and career and talk about potential technical adjustments to the graduation requirements themselves.

- The Friends of the Cleveland Park Library will hold its annual meeting from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on the second floor of the Tenley-Friendship Library at 4450 Wisconsin Ave. NW. D.C. Public Library Executive Director Richard Reyes-Gavilan will present an update on the new Cleveland Park Library construction project. Free and open to the public.

- Women in the World will host their fifth annual D.C. Salon at 6 p.m. at the United States Institute of Peace, 2301 Constitution Ave. NW. The Salon will facilitate conversation with power-players from the U.S. and the rest of the world, showcasing how women have been leading social movements and making their voices heard.
