The “Speed cameras set up to entrap drivers” [Jan. 10] letter writer bemoans the fact that he was served five (uncontested) speeding tickets in 18 months because of strategically placed speed cameras set to “entrap” drivers.
My suggestion to this driver and to anyone who feels victimized by speed cameras: drive within the posted limits. Remember, you are rarely alone on the road. Writing a check to the D.C. treasurer may not get you off the hook if your speeding maims or kills.
