Please mark your calendars for two holiday events in our area. On Christmas Eve, neighborhood resident Marelise Voss will again lead holiday caroling in the Connecticut Avenue business district. Everyone is welcome to join. Meet at noon outside the Starbucks at the corner of Connecticut Avenue and Livingston Street NW. Songbooks and jingle bells will be provided. Babies, children, dogs and in-laws are all welcome. Wear festive attire and look for the Christmas Fool.
On Friday, Dec. 29, our association will sponsor our fourth annual holiday cookie-decorating event. We are again inviting people of all ages to join us from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Chevy Chase Community Center, Connecticut Avenue and McKinley Street NW. All you need to bring is your imagination, decorating skills, a smile and an apron, if you wish. We will provide the cookies, icing and decorations. We are also offering craft-making. Please join us for this fun event.
