Inserting your printed materials
into the Current Newspapers is easy and effective!
Your menus, flyers, etc will be distributed
within our papers on dates you specify and for a fraction
of the cost of mailing.
Here's how...
Choose Delivery Area
You choose the zip codes and we insert your printed materials
into papers we distribute within those zip codes: home delivered,
bulk delivered or both. Click
here to see our list for the quantity of papers we distribute
within each zip code. 20008 and 20016 can not always
be separated accurately.
Insert Rates
Our pricing is very reasonable, a maximum of four cents
each – this rate is reduced if you commit to placing
any combination of ads and inserts either 6, 13, 26 or 52
times annually.

Pre prints must be folded to conform to folded newspaper
size. (Maximum folded size 7" x 11").
Add an additional $10 per thousand if folding or unusual
distribution is required.
All inserts must be delivered to the printer of The Current
Newspapers directly by advertiser.
Minimum insertion charge of $200.
Add 2 percent for spoilage.
Payments are accepted via Visa, Mastercard, Amex, check or cash.
Commissionable Rate
Recognized advertising agencies will
be invoiced and may take a 15% agency commission if paid
by the 20th of the month following publication. Agency must
assume financial responsibility for all commissionable advertising
placed. Ads must be camera-ready.

Insert Submission and Ordering Instructions
Ordering – Requests to have your printed
materials inserted into our papers should be made by noon
Friday for Wednesday papers. Discussing an insert is not the
same as ordering it; make sure you clearly place your order
with your Current salesperson.
Inserts must be delivered directly to our printer

There should be someone there to receive the boxes WEEKDAYS
from 9 to 5 pm.
If no one is at the dock, use the phone at the dock to locate
someone to accept them.

We recommend UPS – deliver often and know where to go,
or use a Courier Service – can be convenient and affordable,

Please IDENTIFY YOUR INSERTS
with a routing sheet on the outside of EACH BOX indicating:
- Current Newspapers
- Date of Insertion (we publish on Wednesdays)
- Zip Codes delivered to – or indicate FULL RUN if
to all zip codes
- Indicate whether delivery is to home delivery or bulk
delivery or both
- Total Number of inserts
